Delete in the App
- Open VitaLink GuarDog and sign in.
- Open Account.
- Choose Delete GuarDog account.
- Review the notice and confirm deletion.
This removes your Firebase sign-in account and requests deletion of your GuarDog entitlement, purchase association, and trial state. Your on-device scan history can be cleared in the app or removed by uninstalling GuarDog.
Request Deletion Without the App
Email us from an address where we can reply. Include the mobile phone number used for GuarDog, including its country code. We may ask for limited information to verify that you control the account before deletion.
Protect your account: Never email us a text-message verification code, password, payment-card number, or Google Play password. VitaLink will not ask for those items.
What Is Deleted
- Your GuarDog Firebase Authentication account.
- Your trial, entitlement, and GuarDog purchase-association records.
- Family-plan or owner-granted phone-number records associated with your verified request.
What May Remain
- Temporary scan-result cache entries expire automatically within three hours.
- Scan history on your phone remains until you clear it or uninstall GuarDog.
- Limited pseudonymous security, fraud-prevention, transaction, and legal records may be retained only as needed for those purposes.
Google Play Subscription
Deleting your GuarDog account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately in Google Play: open the Play Store, select your profile, choose Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
