These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and ET Naturals, doing business as VitaLink ("VitaLink," "we," or "us"), governing your use of the VitaLink GuarDog Android app and related services.
Using GuarDog
You must use GuarDog lawfully and provide accurate account information. You remain responsible for deciding whether to open, trust, contact, pay, download from, or share information with any destination. GuarDog does not replace your judgment, security software, professional advice, or emergency services.
Accounts
GuarDog uses phone verification. You are responsible for maintaining control of your phone number and device and for notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised. Never share a verification code with anyone claiming to represent VitaLink.
Trial Access
Unless changed before launch and disclosed in the app, a new eligible account receives 25 trial scans. Trial access has no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may be limited to prevent fraud or abuse. We may correct trial balances affected by technical error or misuse.
Subscriptions and Billing
Recurring subscriptions are offered and billed through Google Play. The app will display the current product, localized price, billing period, renewal terms, and any applicable offer before purchase. Google Play controls payment methods, taxes, refunds, and cancellation procedures under its terms.
A subscription renews unless canceled through Google Play before renewal. Canceling ordinarily preserves paid access through the end of the applicable entitlement period. Deleting the app or your GuarDog account does not cancel a Google Play subscription.
Family and Granted Access
A qualifying plan may allow the purchaser to grant access to a limited number of phone numbers. The purchaser is responsible for entering the correct numbers and obtaining any permission needed to provide them. Granted access may end when the plan expires, is refunded, enters an ineligible billing state, or when the purchaser removes the number.
Acceptable Use
You may not use GuarDog to violate law or the rights of others; attack, probe, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass the service; submit links to target private or internal systems; automate scans beyond intended app use; resell access; or interfere with security, rate limits, billing, or account controls.
Third-Party Services and Destinations
GuarDog depends on services provided by Google, Cloudflare, destination websites, network providers, and other third parties. We do not control scanned destinations or their content, availability, privacy practices, or security. Your use of those services may be governed by separate terms.
Availability and Changes
We work to keep GuarDog available, but access may be interrupted for maintenance, provider outages, network problems, security incidents, or circumstances beyond our control. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law and Google Play requirements.
Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GuarDog is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, or detection of every threat. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VitaLink and its owners, personnel, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost data, revenue, or profits; or harm caused by a scanned destination or a decision to open or not open it. Our aggregate liability relating to GuarDog will not exceed the amount you paid for GuarDog during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Applicable consumer law may provide rights that cannot be limited by these Terms.
Termination
You may stop using GuarDog or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material violation, fraud, abuse, security risk, or legal requirement. Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated as required by law.
